Three Murders, A Suicide And A Near Miss

On January 31st Wahlpflichtfach English had a very special guest. Mr. David Taylor, actor with Vienna's English Theatre, guided the workshop with our 6a and 6b students and their teachers Ms Gaisberger and Ms Mitterweissacher, who had prepared the day.
The afternoon (6 units) was a very welcome introduction into acting. We could dive into the world of theatre, practise the English language, and enjoy acting with each other. Finally we even got our first movie appearance because the performance was filmed.
Mr Taylor, we call him David, guided us in his very special, skilled, and charming way. Actually we laughed our heads off trying to stage the 'Othello' send-up.
It was a witty 'shnitty' unforgettable experience, and we are looking forward to doing the extensive workshops with David next year, when we will be preparing our English school play.
'Three Murders, A Suicide And A Near Miss' will be performed to our students at school in the coming weeks.
