Vampires
By performing a variety of intriguing and entertaining activities, the Year 3 students delved into the spooky and mysterious world of vampires during some of December's English lessons. All the tasks were centred on open learning and moodle – giving the young learners more autonomy as they could follow their individual work pace and choose tasks according to difficulty and interest.
Not only did the students watch a film clip of "Interview with a vampire" and explain and interpret it, they also read "Dracula", the famous ghost story by Bram Stoker and summarised it. The end product of this two-week-project was a portfolio in which all the texts were collected and attractively presented and illustrated. Look at the photo and admire the results!
