Baked beans, marmite and tea with milk – not as bad as it sounds!

On Wednesday the desks in the 1a-classroom were turned into breakfast tables where the students could try out for real what they had been looking at in pictures during the last few English lessons. They had toast, marmalade, marmite (a “popular” spread for toast), baked beans and tea with milk for breakfast and stocked up on energy for the day.

Although most did not show that much enthusiasm about tasting baked beans, quite a few had a second helping. So not too bad! And with Xaver Morawetz’s special toaster which burns the initials of his favourite football team on the toast and makes a funny cheering sound, the toast could not have tasted better.
